I’m a basket case!

Ok, I admit it! I'm a "basket case" – I love baskets – they corral our "stuff." Projects take extra time when we can't find what we need to complete the job. Placing items in baskets saves time; it's harder to misplace a basket! If you have family members that continue to leave their belongings everywhere, there is hope! You can designate an appropriate basket for each family member and communicate that you want them to be responsible for their stuff; the basket will help them do this. Why not give them notice that when they do not put their things away, everything you find on the floor goes in your basket and may never be seen again - ha-ha. Kids are savvy and will learn what they need to do to keep their treasures! They will also discover the benefit of not having to hunt for things when they know where they are - in their basket!

PS: These baskets can live on a bookshelf in a common area or any "catch-all" area.
