The Entrance of Your Home
Entrance into any establishment is your first experience there, which is the same in your home. This area is easy to neglect if you don't use your front door! Here are some practical tips to lower stress and make entering your home a pleasant experience!
First things first, invite the presence of Jesus in!
It's tempting to invite Jesus into your home after you have cleaned your outside entrance; don't do it! Jesus loves to be invited into our mess because He loves and excepts as we are!
Gather what does not belong on your porch, like newspapers, advertisement flyers, dead plants in flower pots, and what your toddler left outside, and either throw it or put away.
Grab the broom to knock down cobwebs and sweep.
Sweep and wipe down the door and door knob.
Carefully clean the porch light.
Add something pretty or fun to welcome guests.
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20
